How can we know more details about the products?

Send an e-mail to Edocraft. Edocraft will ask the artisan, and send the reply to the customer. However, when the artisan is absence in case of an exhibition, the reply would take a while.

Can we purchase from anywhere in the world?

Yes, you can purchase from anywhere, but depending on the region, different methods of transportaion is used. Usually, Edocraft delivers its products by a world-wide post office service, EMS, but products being delivered to regions not registered in EMS or over-weight products will be sent in a different way. As a result, the delivery fee the customers will pay depends on the region and the weight.

Are there products that can't be purchased internationally?

Yes, there are. Because it was forbidden in the Washington Treaty, products that use tortoise shells, ivory, and whales can only be purchased in Japan. The reason why Edocraft puts these items in the catalogue, is because the puropose of Edocraft is to inform the world of the artisans who have high-tech skills in Edo traditional art and their wonderful products.

Is the delivery fee included in the product's price?

No, it isn't included. The price shown in the catalogue is the price of the products only. Edocraft has many kinds of products, with different weights and shapes, so the delivery fee will be notified at the time of inquiry. The customers will be charged for the products and the delivery fee only. Edocrafts will pay for the insurance against damage.

Is return and exchange accepted?

Except in the case of damage during delivery, return nor exchange is accepted. About the recently topic of procucts looking different in color from reality on the computer screen, Edocrafts is putting all its efforts, but with the technical of reproducing the actual color still to be developed, it will not be a reason for return nor exchange. We appreciate your understanding. The fee for return or exchange will be payed by Edocrafts.

Can special order be made?

Of course, it can. Special orders are Edocrafts' biggest charm. Products introduced in Edocrafts' cantalogue are in stock as well as they are samples for special orders, so Edocrafts will conference with the artisan about the size and color of the customer's request, and with the customer's consent, a product that is closest to the customer's satisfaction will be made. In cases of special orders, half of the price will be asked for beforehand.

Can you do repairs?

Yes, we can. Since Edocrafts products are hand-made, in most cases, repair is possible. With a detailed explanation of the requested repair from the customer, Edocrafts will conference with the artisan and will notify the customer of the price and the approximate time.
